A well-made leather bag should not look untouched forever. It should look lived in.

Full-grain leather is the most natural and durable part of the hide. Rather than sanding away its original texture, we preserve the surface—including its subtle grain, variations and small natural markings. No two pieces are exactly alike from the beginning, and they become even more individual with time.

The beauty of a changing surface

Everyday use gradually changes the leather. The oils from your hands deepen its color. Frequently touched areas become smoother. Corners soften, and fine marks begin to blend into the surface.

Together, these changes form a patina: a rich, natural finish developed through use rather than applied at the workshop.

Patina is not damage. It is the visible history of where your bag has been.

Marks become character

A light scratch from a café table, a darkened handle from daily carrying or a softened fold at the side may feel imperfect at first. Over time, these details settle into the leather and give the bag greater depth.

Unlike heavily coated materials that can crack or peel, quality full-grain leather evolves gradually. It becomes less uniform, but more personal.
