Since 1978, our Nashville workshop has been a place where time is measured differently—not by how quickly something can be produced, but by how carefully it can be made.

Here, Italian leather meets American craftsmanship. Every hide is selected for its grain, strength and ability to become more beautiful with use. From there, each piece passes through the hands of craftspeople who understand that the smallest construction choices determine how a bag will perform years from now.

From hide to finished bag

The process begins at the cutting table. Each section of leather is studied before a pattern is placed. Natural variations are considered rather than concealed, allowing us to position every panel with intention.

Edges are refined. Handles are reinforced. Seams are stitched slowly and checked by hand. Hardware is fitted not only for appearance, but for the movement and pressure it will experience through years of carrying.

There are faster ways to make a bag. We choose the methods that help it last.

The hands behind every piece

Our workshop is shaped by practical knowledge passed from one maker to another: how leather should feel before it is folded, where a strap needs additional structure and when a stitch line is not quite right.

Machines provide precision, but judgment still belongs to the craftsperson.

That is why every finished piece is inspected by the person responsible for making it. Their signature is more than a final detail. It is an acknowledgment of the work and a promise that the bag was considered from beginning to end.

Signed, not stamped

A stamp identifies where something came from. A signature tells you who stood behind it.

“Signed, not stamped” is our way of keeping craftsmanship personal. It reminds us that every bag will eventually become part of someone else’s life—and that the person who made it should be proud to place their name inside.
